Next year, we plan to spend some money getting the garden exactly how we want it but for now, we've bought a large corner sofa and table (you know, for all those boiling hot evenings we have...), a swinging chair, two giant beanbags, a fire pit, had a classic brick BBQ built just like my Daddy's and added a few decorations - a Buddha, lanterns and outdoor garden flares (which by the way, I don't recommend!).

I've absolutely loved having a garden this year so much, even though the typical English weather isn't predictable enough to plan anything, for the 30 minutes of the day, it is nice, I'm straight out there.
However, I'm not a fan of the obscene amount of spiders, snails and slugs that have also made it their home. I know it's stupid because we're outside but I swear there is SO many more in this house compared to any other I've lived in... I'm currently trying to train Luke to get rid but he's almost as scared as I am which isn't a great start!
We have really exciting plans for the garden next year so I'll be doing an update post then! In the mean time, I'll be enjoying every second of sunshine we get in the UK!!
Love Lauren xx
I love (and need) that hanging seat so much!!!!
ReplyDeleteNext year, so long as we don't move house in the meantime, the garden is my priority. The garden itself doesn't need anything doing to it, but we need furniture etc. so that we can sit out and enjoy it!

Thanks lovely! The hanging seat was only £99 from BnM which I think it really good seeing as they have one in Debenhams which is pretty much the same for more than double that! I just wish we had more nice days to be able to sit out in it!
