Interior Inspiration & 'Before' Photos: Kitchen

If you follow me on Twitter, for the last week, you would have been subject to my constant complaining about having no kitchen whilst we decorate. I thought it wouldn't be too much of a problem but it's a nightmare, and extremely frustrating when everything you own is covered in dust, including the drink you have only just made!

Everyone who has seen our current kitchen thinks we're absolutely mad to rip it all out, which yes we are, but if you knew my boyfriend, you'd understand how much he can't stand it!

My favourite part of the kitchen is the part at the very end, you can't see it on the photo but it's got a small window and the rood is sloped down there so I call it my cosy baking area! Cue lots more recipe posts coming from here in the future!

Here's my Pinterest board of kitchen inspiration. Some of these were from the board I made of the previous house we were meant to buy hence the by-fold doors and skylight. Unfortunately that one fell through so we're a lot more limited with this kitchen as to changing much apart from the look of the unties and appliances.

As if it wasn't obvious, the look we are going for is very white and sleek - as with the rest of the house! We're going to have high cupboard and big pull out drawers down below with a white built in oven and microwave at the end of the room. Luke was under strict instructions to keep my baking area when he was doing the designs!

As it's hard to show where to buy the actual kitchen, these are all the things I'm going to fill it with, obviously a lot of baking equipment! As always the photos are clickable.

As this room is currently a building site, literally. It will definitely be the biggest transformation and I can't wait to see it. Meanwhile, I'll be living off microwave rice and cold chicken... or takeaways! Whoops!

Love Lauren xx
