Cleanse, tone and moisturise with Avon

First of all can I just take a second to appreciate the quality of this photo? I've been taking all my blog photos on my phone ever since I started this little blog back in May so obviously I was ridiculously excited to get a new camera for Christmas and test it out!

Okay back to skincare...

I for one, am in no position to preach to anyone when it comes to skincare. I know it should be super important, but still struggle to stop making excuses about not having time. Whenever I do try out a new routine, my skin loves it at first, but then after a while I feel like it stops making a difference and starts heading the other way. For this reason, I tend to mix up my products quite often but I always end up coming back to this trio. My skin is quite dry usually and these products work perfectly to combat the dry patches.

The cleanser comes in the form of a gel, which is rubbed on to the skin in circular motions, it goes on clear but as it's rubbed in it turns white, which is so helpful when I'm trying to work out which sections I've massaged in. You only need a tiny bit to cover your whole face and the product size is massive so it'll last you forever! I then remove it with either a damp flannel or damp large cotton wool pads.

The toner is as expected and works best with a little on a large cotton wool pad and swept across the face. I usually leave it a minute or two to settle in before going on to the last step.

All the solutions range in colour coded, and as you can see from the photo, this isn't the correct moisturiser for this set but I love it. The hydra beyond lotion combats my dry skin and leaves it glowing; a perfect base for underneath my makeup. Only two small pumps are needed to cover the whole face for a big hydrating boost - a great one for damaged winter skin.

I do need to really try harder to keep up with a regular skincare routine. It should be my New Year's resolution! I'll get there one day!I'd love to hear about the combinations you use, I'm always looking for new products to try!

Love Lauren xx

  1. I love trying out new skincare but I get so scared at the same time because my skin is so sensitive. Is this any good for sensitive skin like mine?
