Interior Inspiration & 'Before' Photos: Bedroom

This is one room that is very very nearly finished thank goodness!! If you follow me on Twitter/have me on Snapchat you would have seen the progress and probably followed the dramas we've had with the bed! First of all we had the wrong size, then we had to pay to exchange and the new one wouldn't fit up the stairs so out came the window and Luke along with our very handy carpenter who was fitting the kitchen ended up hoisting the bed up the side of the house and through the window. Honestly, nothing is ever easy!...

For this room, we wanted to keep with the white theme running through the whole house but add in a bit of grey and crushed velvet with our beloved mirrored furniture. We've always wanted a massive tall headboard so we ended up getting one handmade. Both the wardrobe's are built in so we can't really change those but my side does have double hanging space which is majorly necessary!!

Here's my Pinterest board of inspiration for this room

I think we may come to regret an entirely white house!! Currently the carpet has been changed, the bed and headboard are in, as is the mirrored furniture so all that is left is bedding/pillows/throws and lots of them, and a chandelier!

All the photos below are clickable for easy shopping on my inspo boards

Not long until I'll be able to show you all this one!!

Love Lauren xx
